Laser engraving removes the powder coat to show the stainless steel base, which is generally silver, with the exception of Black Stainless & Dark Aura. These are colored stainless steel, so the engraving is a more subtle tone on tone.

Tumblers are customized with love and alcohol. Slight variations should be expected.

How long can my drink stay hot in the Pour Over?
Keep your coffee warm for up to 6 hours, and your iced drinks cold for up to 24 hours.
 
What coffee grind is best for pour over coffee?
A medium to medium-coarse grind is best. Think sea salt. If your coffee tastes weak or sour, adjust the grind to be finer. If it is too bitter, adjust it to be coarser.
 
Is the Nesting Cup easy to clean?
Sure is. Simply throw away/discard the biodegradable paper filter full of coffee grinds leaving no mess or sticky grinds stuck to the Pour Over Cup.
 
Is the Pour Over dishwasher safe?
The Pour Over is top rack dishwasher safe, and most of the colorways are dishwasher safe (except Onyx Leopard, Gold Leopard, and Dark Aura). Simply unlatch the leakproof lid and leave it open on dishwasher top-rack while washing. Learn more about which BrüMate products are dishwasher safe here.
How long does it take to make coffee in the Pour Over?
Making the best cup of coffee takes time. You can expect the full process to take around 7-10 minutes. With an e-kettle, you can cut time down to around 5 minutes.
 
What is the recommended ratio of coffee to water?
We recommend using the 1:17 ratio of coffee to water, but you can adjust to find your desired ratio for the perfect cup. Here's a good guide.

• 8oz = 14 grams of coffee
• 12oz = 21 grams of coffee
• 16oz = 28 grams of coffee

 
What are the benefits of a pour over coffee?
There are a few benefits to the pour over coffee method:

What filters are compatible with the Pour Over?
Only BrüMate's custom-fit filters are compatible with the Pour Over coffee mug. Our custom filters allow for your coffee to bloom and brew at the proper flow rate, creating a superb cup of home-brewed coffee that won't alter the taste of your favorite coffee beans.
 
Can the Pour Over be used for liquids outside of hot coffee?
The nesting Pour Over Cup is intended for brewing hot coffee only. However, the 20oz insulated Pour Over Mug can be used with any hot, cold, and carbonated beverages.
 
What is not recommended to use in the Pour Over?
We do not advise using MCT or Coconut Oil in your BrüMate Pour Over as it can damage the integrity of the leakproof seal and Tritan Renew™ material.
 
What's the difference between pour over and drip coffee?
The Pour Over gives you more control over all of the variables, so it's easier to get a much better cup of coffee. The majority of auto-drop machines don’t extract at the right temperature, extract too fast or don’t evenly extract the grounds. The Pour Over allows you to control all of that and also adjust the process for your personal preferences (strength, bitterness, etc). It’s also portable, and you can brew right into the cup you’re taking with you for the day.
